West Virginia High School winter sports attendance updates

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – West Virginia highschool winter sports activities competitions are proper across the nook, and followers might be excited to get again to watching the video games.

Due to COVID-19 guideline adjustments within the mountain state, groups can count on a bigger variety of individuals within the stands.

These attending video games might be temperature checked and might want to observe masks and social distancing tips.

And due to the construction for these indoor amenities, spectators might be relegated to “pods” or “sections” within the stands.

“Some amenities can have particular person seats, each six toes. Different individuals can have pods of two each six toes. Different individuals may need a wide range of pods of two, three or 4. That might be as much as every college to work out,” says WVSSAC government director, Bernie Dolan.

Officers from the state’s athletic fee are excited for the rise in attendance for these student-athletes.
