GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. —
The highest two groups within the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League posted victories on Friday evening.
The league-leading Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs defeated the North River Flames 6-3 whereas the second-place Tignish Perry’s Building Aces earned a 3-2 win in additional time in opposition to the Sherwood Metros.

Isaac Drake, an affiliate participant for the IceDogs, had a aim and two assists within the win whereas Ryan MacDonald had three assists on the Three Rivers Sportsplex in Georgetown.
Alex MacEachern scored twice for the house aspect whereas singles went to Sammy Docherty, Cole Mosher and Ty Peardon. Cam White had two assists whereas MacKenzie Good and Caden Kielly every contributed one.
Kyler Weeks scored two for North River whereas Owen Handregan chipped in a single. Daniel Godfrey had a pair of helpers whereas singles went to Nick Buote, Ethan Handregan, Aaron McCloskey and Donovan Wyand.
Brandon Barrett made 26 saves for the win whereas Jean-Luc Duguay was peppered with 47 pictures within the loss.
Georgetown led 1-0 after the primary interval whereas the groups had been tied 3-3 heading to the third.
The IceDogs improved to 15-3-0 whereas the Flames are 9-5-1, good for third place within the five-team circuit.

Ethan Rix scored the winner with 38 seconds left in additional time in Tignish.
Nathan Grigg and Alex Arthur scored in regulation for the Aces. Oliver Smallman had two assists whereas Kane Arsenault, Jacob Hogan and Thomas Shea every added one.
Isaac McCabe and Robbie Munro scored for Sherwood with assists going to Bret Cheverie and Tanner Gallant.
Cole Gallant made 24 saves for the victory whereas Zack Hughes stopped 34 pictures within the loss.
The sport was tied 1-1 after the primary interval and 2-2 after the center stanza.
The Aces are 13-5-0 whereas the Metros are 3-13-1.
