BATAVIA — The Genesee County 4-H Teen Membership is giving again this vacation season by gathering “mitten tree” donations and donating stuffed vacation stockings to deployed navy members.
At their November membership assembly, Teen Membership members donated vacation stockings for deployed navy members. The stockings have been put collectively by Teen Membership members utilizing gadgets that they bought and donated.
Members included enjoyable and helpful gadgets reminiscent of snacks, gum, sweet, and puzzles. The vacation stockings will probably be mailed to deployed navy members to take pleasure in throughout this vacation season.
Teen Membership members additionally arrange a “mitten tree” on the Cornell Cooperative Extension Workplace to gather donations of hats, gloves, mittens and scarves.
Donated gadgets will probably be displayed on the mitten tree till Dec. 14 after which will probably be donated to native households in want.
